HOW DO I KNOW THAT WHAT I AM DOING IS...

QUESTION

How do I know I am doing what God called me to do if what I am doing looks like it is not going anywhere?

ANSWER

Anything that is done out of a pure heart with the desire to please God is a sure sign that what you are doing is the right thing. If what you are doing is producing righteousness on the earth and bringing forth goodness then it is safe to assume that you are doing what is right before God. I know looking at all the media outlets tell a different story, but before the eyes of God it that which is according to his desires and word is what is counted as worthy to him. Don’t get bogged down by those who are being esteemed for partaking in that which is opposite of the Kingdom, just continue to move forward doing what God has called you do and when the times comes for him to open the door for expansion and elevation in him you know you will be ready and able to handle yourself according to his desires for your life.

Just keep building and moving forward, remember Noah built through the ridicule and his blessing was great, Moses in the midst of the people’s doubt continued on the path of freedom and his blessing was great, Lot being known as the righteous in the lands overcome by sin obeyed the angles and his life was spared, Jesus preaching and teaching through the hate received the greatest gift of all, Mary believing the word of the Lord gave birth to Jesus, the Disciples adhering to the call of Jesus was privileged to so much Godly wisdom, authority and knowledge. I say all this to say, just keep doing what God has called you to do and God will align all things in your life to become in accord with his purpose for your life.

I personally know moving in righteousness when the world is moving in the opposite direction is hard, but keep in mind God is a strategic God and just maybe the way he is having you move may not be for the right not but for the future. Maybe what you are doing now is building the foundation for something much greater to come. Even if what you are doing doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere or making a difference right now ion this moment just know that in the eyes of God what you are doing to serve him is most honored. I am sure the people called to serve God thought the same as they too were in the beginning stages of calling/ministry, yet they kept moving forward in faith believing that God would not fail them.

God has called you to service and it may not look like it now but just know that whatever he has called you to do the way he has called you to do it will eventually take root and grow into something beautiful when God says the time is right for your tree to bloom his glorious fruit.
