For he looked (searched) for a city (a place of dwelling) which has the foundations (the base on which something stands), whose builder (one who assembles/puts together) and maker (creator) is God (a being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe; the principal object of faith and worship in religions).


Thought to Ponder...What are your spiritual roots? What is the base of your standing and by whose hand are you created?


Thought to Ponder...Are you living in such a way right now that people can come to you to find and fill up on the presence of God and his truth and glory?
