- PRAYER IS GOOD FOR SOUL
This week's meditation is simple, PRAYER. This week take time to pray. Put no formalities on it, just pray. Talk to God, spend quality time with God just as is you were spending time with a friend, a parent, a companion and so forth. Whenever the Holy Spirit moves you just pray. You can pray silently within or out loud, write a letter or sing a song of the heart, however your soul is moved just pray. This week for soul care let the act of prayer be your focus. Matthew 21:13...And (Jesus) said unto them, It is written, my house will be called the house of prayer. Isaiah 56:7...Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their brunt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine will be called a house of prayer. Our soul is the house of the Lord Jehovah, let us make it a home of prayer, a dwelling place where he is given the opportunity to commune with us in the core of who we are. And through the act of prayer or soul will be made joyful by the presence of the Lord.

- BEATITUDE FOR THE SOUL...
Soul care is sometimes the gift of being selfless, so this week in the spirit of selflessness we will look at the Beatitudes, Matthew 5:1-12. Every day this week I will read a beatitude and be that for someone else. Example: Monday beatitude #1…verse 3) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Where I see someone down and broken in their spirit I will pour the word of God into them, being sure to let them know that the presence of the Kingdom of Heaven is within them. Tuesday beatitude #2…verse 4) Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Where I see someone in grief over the loss of someone or something I will speak the word of God into their hurt, being sure to let them know that the presence of the Holy Spirit is upon them consoling their place of longing. And so forth and so on, there is no particular order nor is there a limit, do what you can how you can and be sure to let the person you are assisting know that it is by the Throne of Heaven you speak and move in their life. Fulfilling the beatitude can be a word spoken, a prayer, an act of kindness and mercy or just a silent presence. Pray and let the Spirit of God speak and move through you to be a blessing to someone else. On the Sabbath which is Saturday, set that day aside for yourself to rest and reflect, being sure to apply verses 3-12 to yourself. Spend the day taking care of yourself and as you pamper and primp yourself be sure to speak the word of God to yourself, remind yourself that everyday of your life the Kingdom of Heaven is with you always.
- TITUS 2:11-15
PREFACE *Paul's teaching in Titus 2 is about establishing the behavior of men and woman both the older and younger generations and understanding the Godly order of household roles. *Paul states the older men are to be free from intoxication (everything that impairs them to live in a state of clearness); serious in their thought and dignified in conduct (honest, real and respectful); self-controlled; secure/stable not only in their belief in God and his doctrine (principles) but also be secure and stable in their love and patience as well. The older men's responsibility is also to teach the younger men to not only live as they have been taught but to also teach the younger men how to establish themselves as being men that continuously choose live in a way that produces good upon the earth and cannot be found faulty by the sinner that sinner may have an opportunity to speak negatively against. *Paul then addresses the older women by stating they too should be holy in the way in which they conduct themselves; not liars; free from anything that has the ability to impair their physical and mental self so they can be teachers of that which is righteous and honorable to the younger generations of women. They are to teach the younger generations of women how to live as they live in holiness; love their husband and children as God has ordained them the responsibility of being the keepers of the house; to be modest (discreet, meaning what we hold sacred as a woman is not meant to be given to all men, but only to the one God created as our spirit mate, the man whose rib is a part of our spiritual makeup), pure and dutifully compliant to their husband's authority. *Paul then addresses the workers to be loyal and faithful to their employers and dutifully compliant to their authority figures that their work may be pleasing to their employer. Put a pin right here… You see how God first addressed the man then the woman then the worker, this is with purpose. Here is a good place to stop and reference the book of Genesis when it comes to roles. In the book of Genesis God when creating the woman and the man clearly stated the roles of each. Man being created first was ordained to be the authoritative figure and the women the helpmeet (to meet him at the place where he needs her help) to man. Man’s responsibility was to honor the word of his father and do his will, while the woman was to honor the voice of her husband and do his will trusting that the man was following the God and moving in righteousness as he leads her. Now to go a step further and reference 1 Corinthians 11:3 which states God is the head of all, Jesus is then the head of the man, man is the head of the woman, and the woman is the head of the children. This not only establishes the roles of the man and woman but also establishes the foundation in which they are to live out their roles, for if both the man and the woman are in accord with the Throne of Heaven then both the man and woman under the guide of holiness not only leads and submits righteously, but also conducts themselves and the running of their household in such a manner that harmony is achieved and perpetuated continuously. (Just a thought, if the husband and wife were to align themselves to the word of God and follow his order of the household could this be the key to eliminating divorce?) Such is the same order of rule for the employer and their employee. Look at how God in the book of Genesis instructed Adam as his servant to tend to the garden, the outline was clear and the task was righteous. The employer is to be righteous towards their employee as God was to those he called, being fair, just and Godly in the way in which authority is asserted is righteous law. The employee is called to serve as if they are in service to God, believing that the place in which they work is a place where the righteousness of God can be worked through them. That both the employer and the employee may be pleasing unto the eye of God working out his will. Back to the lesson at hand… *Paul then states that all he has taught the man, the woman and the worker should be done the way he has instructed so that the word of God in which we know to be true is not made a mockery out of and disrespected, and clearly establishes the love one has for God by their obedience to his word. SCRIPTURE FOCUS 11) For the grace (divine favor bestowed freely on people as in granting redemption from sin; unmerited favor and love of God) of God that brings salvation (deliverance from destruction, difficulty or evil) has appeared (made visible) to all men (humankind). Key Point: Grace of God = Son of God, Jesus the Christ. Jesus is considered the grace because by him we received the true love of God which is redemption from sin and salvation into everlasting life. Key Point: There is not one person alive that does not know about Jesus, thus not knowing about the Lord Jehovah, the life of Jesus is the presence of God made real. Jesus’s life story is the knowledge of God blessed upon all mankind. The notion of question is do you chose to believe or not? 12) Teaching us that denying (to reject) ungodliness (sin) and worldly (fleshly) lust (intense or immoral craving/desire for; self-indulgence) we should live soberly (free from anything that intoxicates), righteously (morally upright; virtuous) and Godly (having great love, respect and profound awe for God) in this present world. Key Point: Lust of the world = temptations of satan. What causes people to sin is the intense desire of wanting more than what God has portioned for your life. Comparing self to others and through unsatisfaction desiring more. Key Point: Where satan dwells immorality follows. Chasing after the world will have you compromising your virtue, doing those things that are shameful and unpleasing in the eyes of the Throne of Heaven. Key Point: Look at how Paul uses the term this world, it is specific yet timeless, meaning it spans across generations in the present and the future, the ways of the world in which one lives in the present moment. Thought to Ponder: Look at the world today and how vast the heightening of immoral living is. The things people are doing to obtain material riches and treasures. Look at how the people are breaking the commandments of God and Jesus just to dwell in the place where satan dwells. Women and men are forgoing virtue and righteousness just to obtain what society has taught them to believe is worthwhile and meaningful. Thought to Ponder: What immoralities are you committing in the name of the come up, in the name of I have to survive, in the name of false justification. Could it be turning to God and not being afraid to follow his command is the key to living a Godly life. Key Point: It is the sin of lust that is the root to ungodliness, the want for more, the desire to have, the gratifying pleasure of self-indulgence. The devil wants us to want more than what God has ordained for our life. Thought to Ponder: Could it be that the very thing the devil is wanting you to desire is the very thing God knows is not conducive for a righteous living toward him and the purpose he created you to live on earth. Could it be that the very thing the devil is placing before you to desire very well may be the very thing that creates an obstacle or blocking of God’s blessing. Thought to Ponder: We are to be ok with what God places in our lives, too much can be morally damning, to little can be morally tempting, however if we view our lives through the eyes of God and come to an understanding that what we have is sufficient for the life God has chosen us to live instead of looking toward the world and its treasures then we can come to a place of contentment. Thought to Ponder: How would life be if we desired the righteousness of Heaven instead of worldly materials? Could the key to true happiness be in living a life that seeks after God first and actually choosing to be ok with that choice no matter what? 13) Looking for that blessed (holy) hope (expectation; anticipation), and the glorious (splendid; marvelous; wonderful) appearing (to become visible) of the great God and our Savior Jesus the Christ. Key Point: Keeping our focus on Jesus the Christ helps us to better reject the temptations of satan, Jesus allows for no time to be placed on entertaining the devil when he approaches. Thought to Ponder: If Jesus came back now what would he see you doing, and would God be pleased at your current behavior? We are to live our life as if Jesus could come at any moment. Key Point: Jesus the Christ = hope in everlasting life, salvation, deliverance, love of God in spite of satan's presence in our life. Key Point: When Jesus appears, means both the time of his return to earth and the right now. This is glorious because what will be made visible to all when Jesus the Christ comes is the Kingdom of Heaven, the presence of God and all that is righteous and true in him. Key Point: Our hope is Jesus = our hope in believing and knowing the presence of God/the Kingdom of Heaven is real and is available to every person. 14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem (to recover or set free by offering compensation; atonement) us from all iniquity (immorality; sin), and purify (make holy; free from moral or spiritual defilement) unto himself a peculiar (not ordinary; strange; odd; specially unique) people, zealous (passionate; burning, spirited, fanatical) of good (morally upright) works (actions, deeds, labor). Key Point: Gave himself = self sacrifice = purpose/good works Key Point: What it cost God and Jesus to bring us salvation from burning in the fire of hell, death on the cross. Thought to Ponder: Just as the life of Jesus was death for redemption, are you willing to bring death self-indulgence of the worldly treasures and pleasurable sins to be redeemed unto the Throne of Heaven? Key Point: What keeps mankind bonded to hell and separated from the Kingdom of Heaven, unrighteousness/immoral living/sin. (God does not separate himself from us, we separate ourselves from God when we opted to live in sin rather than righteousness. However, God is always there should a person decide to repent and come back to him). Key Point: By following the teachings and life of Jesus the Christ we are made holy by him to him and belonging to the Kingdom of Heaven will make us seem weird or strange to those living outside of the righteousness of the Kingdom of Heaven. Moving and living in the ways of God are incomprehensible to the worldly because righteousness requires following and practicing a set of standards that are based on selfless living in servitude to an Almighty authority opposite to pleasing the flesh. Key Point: Peculiar in the sense of having authorities, abilities and comprehension unfathomable to those living outside the presence of the Kingdom of Heaven. The peculiar people of Jesus can be defined as the chosen of God distinctively having their own Heavenly remarkable, one of kind quality or characteristics. Thought to Ponder: What are your unique characteristics in Christ that you should be living out loud in today’s world? Key Point: The chosen people of the Throne of Heaven are passionate about doing the works of the Lord. Doing God’s will is what brings about a great joy in life. Righteous works is what brings about true and worthwhile living. Thought to Ponder: Are you a peculiar person of the Lord? Key Point: John 14:12 the good works we are to partake in are the works of Jesus the Christ which we know to be his commandments to love God and love our neighbor just as we love ourselves, to preach and teach the gospel, to baptize the people in the name of the Holy Trinity, and to follow the commandments of God. Good works = mimicking the work that Jesus spent his life doing. (Question, how can one love another person as they love themselves, if they don't know how to love themselves correctly. First love God, then ask God to help you love yourself as he loves you then ask him to help you love your neighbor.) 15) These things speak (convey information), and exhort (urge, persuade), and rebuke (express sharp disapproval; reject; condemn) with all authority (power, command). Let no man despise (regard with contempt; dislike intensely). Key Point: Godliness is the whole point of our living in word, action and deed. Key Point: Read 2 Timothy 4:2 as a reference to this verse. Be ready at all times to do the work of the Lord, preach the word of God and with patience and stable principles of belief partake in the acts of this verse. Key Point: The Throne of Heaven is our key to having authority on earth to live out loud in the will of God without fault and in courage and strength. Key Point: No person on earth should loathe/hate the righteousness of God in a person. Why? Because in a Godly person dwells the presence of God, Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven. Sum it up… God is a God of righteous structure and Godly order, if we want our lives to be harmonious on earth we must respect his supreme authority and incorporate in our daily living his divine system of organization which we know to be taught, preached and illustrated by his son Jesus the Christ in righteousness and truth that is designed to produce spiritual freedom from sin, disarray and disorder in every aspect of our earthly living. To God Almighty be the glory for the reading, studying and edification of his word in the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.

- FAITH
DEFINITION n. Belief in God with confidence and unquestioning belief in his truth, value, doctrine and will. n. Strong unshakable belief in something without proof or evidence. BIBILCAL CONTEXT As a follower of Jesus the Christ our belief in God is that he is the one and only true God by whose truth, purpose and principles we stand, live and breathe having unwavering confidence in knowing that even though we don’t have visible facts of his existence, like seeing his actual face we know that he is absolute and real. Faith is the key to our everyday living, for by faith we pull strength to survive, thrive and accomplish our purpose of living in Christ, and it is by faith that we please God first and foremost. Faith keeps us in the love of God and according to Ephesians 2:8 by faith which is the confident belief of, we are indeed saved by the grace of God. Also know just as faith is important to God so is it to the devil, for satan knows that if he can weaken our faith and destroy our belief in God he has the evil opportunity to consume our hearts and turn us against the righteousness of Lord to partake in his wicked sins, thus damning our spirits to burn in hell and calming the victory over the Kingdom of Heaven. Yet our faith is at its' greatest when we feed it the word of God continuously. Read Hebrews chapter 11, faith defined and exemplified, one of the major parts of the foundation by which the followers of the Kingdom of Heaven are built. By faith we believe, live and move in the ways of God knowing that the end result is the glory of the Throne of Heaven on earth and everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven when God calls his people home to him. Who have you put your faith in, is it God, mankind, the devil or self?
- GRATEFUL TO BE BLESSED...
Lord Jehovah this week I am grateful to be blessed by you and to be anointed to be a blessing to someone else. I am thankful that my life is a reflection of your truth and by my good works the glory is given unto your Kingdom and the salvation of souls is won. Much gratitude to you my God for establishing me as one of your divine lamps to shine as a guiding light, leading those you've place on my path to your Heavenly Throne. Thank you, Lord Jehovah, for molding my life, shaping up my soul and controlling my flesh that all the days of my life I am yours to the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven. To you Almighty Father be the glory forever and ever, for you deserve the praise, honor and worship for being such a marvelous God.
- WHY DO BAD THINGS...
QUESTION Why do bad things happen to good people, why does God allow such harshness to happen to the undeserving and innocent? ANSWER First, and I know this may seem harsh and unpleasant to take in, but it is not our place to question God and try to understand why he moves like he moves or allows unpleasantries to occur, that is not our business. It is however our obligation to trust God and have faith that he is justly and righteously handling all in a way that his glory may be seen and received. Remember walking with God does not exempt us from experiencing discomfort and hurt in the world, walking with God gives us the authority to become an overcomer in spite of. I want you to understand harshness and pain is inevitable, from the moment Adam and Eve bit into the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and brought the existence of sin into the world, the devil has had access to our lives. This brings me to my next point, we must remember we are living in the midst of a war between the Kingdom of Heaven and the depths of hell. Just as the Lord has assigned his angels to bring about his glory in our life and into the world so has the devil assigned his demons to destroy that glory by his torment, torture, temptation and presence of sins, thus the meaning of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. You see, troubling times are meant to bring about the glory of God, that even though the innocent and undeserving may experience the harshness of life, it is through that harshness that the glory of God may come to be a conquer over all that has been assigned from the pit of hell to break and/or destroy. Harsh times though used by the devil to kill the glory of God, God in opposition to his adversary uses that harshness as fertile soil for the planting of his glorious seed to take root, sprout and serve a greater purpose on earth for those he places on our path that may need to see that it is indeed possible for the glory of God to flourish through the grit and grime of sorrow, grief and the hardness/bad of life. Now it will not be easy, but it is possible to become a survivor, overcomer and obtainer of God's glory. And as cliché as it may sound the way to get through the bad times is to seek God first, not seek him for an understanding but seek him for his saving grace of the mind, heart and soul for the brokenness and despair that the bad/harshness of life has caused. Here are a couple of scriptures I hope brings you enlightenment and encouragement as you deal with this. Read about the life of Jesus in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Read how Jesus was tempted, tormented, tortured by the devil and ultimately killed, however as you read look at all the glory of God that came unto all mankind in the past, present and future by the bad Jesus experienced. And after you come into an understand of that then see how Jesus received the greatest glory in Heaven and upon earth, to be named the son of the Most High God and be reverenced as such forever. Matthew 5:45…All things happen to each one of us alike, rather a good person or bad. Genesis 50:20…What the devil meant for bad God will use for good. Ecclesiastes 3…A season for all things to happen in our life. Proverbs 3:5…Trust God and lean not to your own understanding. John 10:10...The purposes of satan and God. Job 1:6-12 (and/or whole book of Job)...Where bad comes from and why we experience it; War between God and the devil; Even though we go through bad things the glory of God is greater; Testing of those who belong to God; Faith building/establishing. 1John 3:8...Jesus's purpose to destroy works of the devil who produces sin. Sin is what produces the bad in life. What do I mean? The moment someone makes the choice to sin it is that moment consequence is released upon the earth. The consequence that effects the sinner and the consequence that affects the one who sin comes up against. However, when consequence is released so is the goodness of God ready to combat that consequence with the desire of his glory to be victorious over the kingdom of hell and bring the sinner and the sinned against into holy accord with him. We do not control the actions of others however we do experience the actions of others that's why Jesus taught to love God and then love your neighbor just as you love yourself. Jesus knew that love is the key to moving in righteousness upon the earth and rebuking the devil and his sinful living. Now there are some bad things that happen out of ignorance, misguidance and misfortune all around, here is where the practice of leaning not to our own understanding has to be strongly applied, and the intent of the person who was badly hurt has to not be focused on the act of what caused them pain but on the process of healing and coming into harmony with self.

Lord Jehovah of all that was and is to come I ask that you bring all mankind into holy accord with your Throne of everlasting Godliness. I pray for your chosen shepherds and shepherdess that they come to serve not the one who bends their flesh to the ways of the world but come to serve you the most Holy God who sustains their soul and spirit in the light of your goodness, your glory and the fruits of Anointed Spirit. Father Jehovah, remove all of those who have selfishly taken positions of authority in the world and church and replace them with those who have been conceived in your heavenly mind, birthed on earth and chosen by you to serve your sacred purpose on earth. Call out their name dear God, open their ears to hear your voice and their heart to answer your calling, for all humanity is in need of your righteousness that dwells in them to speak and do your Godly workings on earth. Lord Jehovah, I thank you, I praise you and I bless your powerful name in the name of your Holy Son the Christ, Messiah and Prince of all that righteous and true in the Kingdom of Heaven and upon earth.
- PHILEMON 1:3
SCRIPTURE Grace (divine favor free and undeserved; kindness; goodwill; mercy) to you, and peace (quiet; calm; absence of war or hostilities; freedom from quarrels and disagreements; harmonious relations; tranquility), from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Key Point: God as the Father = Origin and creator (The Alpha, the King of Peace), Jesus the Christ = Son of God (The Omega; the Prince of Peace), thus the beginning and end of grace and peace, All that is powerful in the Kingdom of Heaven. Key Point: Grace and peace is given to us by the acts of love (for God so loved the world) and sacrifice (that he gave his only begotten son). Thought to Ponder: When we say we love someone is our love rooted in mercy and harmony in spite of all a person does/says that may not be deserving of our goodwill and peace. Key Point: The author starts off wishing grace and peace to the receiver of this letter, this is how we should greet one and other, praying the divine favor and harmony from the Throne of Heaven. Thought to Ponder: How easy life would be if we followed this example when interacting with one another. Instead of approaching the next person with animosity and harshness we come before one another praying for the kindness and tranquility of God to be upon them. Just the sheer act of starting a conversation in Godliness can make a very big difference. Key Point: We don’t have to earn grace, grace is freely given to us. The Throne of Heaven is ready to bestow upon us mercy and kindness because that is who they are in truth. Key Point: satan dwells and does his dirty work in the realm of earth and in order to escape the harshness of satan that comes with living in the world we must turn to the Throne of Heaven who is all powerful to quiet and subdue the loudness of the demons. Thought to Ponder: In our life what/who are we turning to find grace and peace? Key Point: Divine favor and freedom from the harshness of the world comes out of righteousness and righteousness comes from the Throne of Heaven. In the spirit of the Christmas season, by God's grace toward mankind the birth of Jesus the Christ was the key element in keeping mankind in harmony with the Kingdom of Heaven. To God Almighty be the glory for the reading, studying and edification of his word in the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.
- LORD JEHOVAH,
Blessed be your holy name forever and ever. God, I come to you in prayer praying on behalf of those this holiday season who are missing loved ones, feeling alone and are struggling to hold on to what little bit of faith they have. Most Heavenly Father send forth the comfort of your Holy Spirit upon those that are in despair, sickness and dis-ease, lay your healing hand of holiness upon their shoulders and replenish the areas of their life that are causing them to live in grief and anguish with your divine joy. God touch every heart reading this prayer, wipe every eye that cries and lift of their mind the burdens of sadness and hopelessness that weigh them down and are causing them to drown in the tribulations of life. God you are the giver of all and to each person who is in need of your love I pray that you send them someone who is so deeply rooted in your Kingdom of Heaven that in them the reflection of your love needed is provided. For the sorrowed, heart ached and pained Lord I ask that you be a blessing of closure to their brokenness and from this day forth renew their heart, mind and soul by the glory and power of your Throne with all that is pleasant and delightful in you, in the name of your Holy Son I pray, Amen.
- ADHERE
Dictionary Meaning v. stay (remain) attached (bound to) to; to bind oneself to observe (to comply with) and obey (fulfill the command, order, or instruction of) Biblical Context God wants us to remain bound to him by fulfilling his and his son’s commandments. What are the commandments we are to follow? The book of Deuteronomy is God’s instruction to mankind, the laws he set forth for all to follow in order to remain righteous before him, the ten commandments. Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:28-34, Luke 10:27 is Jesus’s commandments we are to hold above all commandments and honor before all. Both the commandments of God and Jesus start with mankind loving God. So what does loving God do? Loving God establishes the foundation of our heart, and the heart is the most important element to mankind. Why the heart? The heart is the scared place of treasure, the place where we hold that which is dearest to us above all. Loving God should be our first focus, by loving God we set the tone for our living. God knows if we are affixed to loving him we are more prone to do his will without reservation. Love is powerful, loving someone makes you only want to do that which pleases them, this is why God says to love him first, he knows that by loving him, by giving our hearts to him the rest of who we are in thought, word and action will fall into place with his word of righteousness and truth. What are the benefits of remaining bound to God and fulfilling his and his’s commandments? Brings about the goodness of God in our life. Helps us to resist the devil, thus causing the devil to flee from us. We become a habitat for the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven to abide in. We are able to fulfill the purpose of God for our life. We can help others find the light and come to live a life in righteousness. Establishes the path success and prosperity. God will treasure us, call us his chosen people and set us above all. We have eternal salvation. We receive the Holy Spirit. Brings meaning to our life so that we are not living in vain. Supplies all that is needed to live life abundantly blessed in him. Allows us to ask in the name of Jesus and receive that which we ask. Makes us inheritors to the Kingdom of Heaven and gives us access to everlasting life. OPENS THE HEART OF GOD TO LOVE US ACCORDING TO HIS PROMISE! And so much more... Question to ponder, is that which you are binding yourself to, that which you are compliant and submitted to following of God or the ways of the world?
