SOLITUDE IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

This week find a place you can go to have one on one time with God, a place where it’s just you and God in singleness. The beach, the park, the church, the bathroom, your car; wherever that scared place may be just go there and allow yourself to be in solitude with God. Let there be no purpose as just to be in the presence of glory and righteousness where you can be filled with his peace, his calm, his resolve, his strength, his beauty, his love, his heart, his mercy, his compassion, his comfort and his pure grace.

In a world that constantly tells us to go and be busy doing something all the time, we desperately need time away from it all with God; this is a necessity. Even Jesus when needed at times during his ministry took time away from his Disciples and the people to be alone and communion with his Father that he may be filled with the glory and goodness of God needed to continue in his divine work.

So this week purposely and mandatorily seclude yourself from the world to be in the presence of the Lord Jehovah.

Mark 1:35…And in the morning, rising up a great while before the day, he went out, and departed into a solitary (alone) place, and there prayed (communed with God).
