PREFACE

Abram a descendant of Noah through Noah’s son Shem. Abram who was a very righteous man was called by God at the age of 75. The purpose of God’s calling on Abram’s life can be found in Genesis 12:1-3, to be the creator of a righteous family line.

***You are never too old to be used by God, age is just an earthly number not a determining factor in the eyes of God. God can call someone to him whenever and however he chooses, in the eyes of God it is never too late for him to use anyone.***

SCRIPTURE

1) And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared (to become visible; made evident; into existence) unto Abram, and said (spoken language) unto him, I am the Almighty (absolute unlimited universal power; invincible; supreme) God (a being conceived as perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe); walk before (in front of; in the presence of) me and be (state of being) perfect (lacking nothing; essential to whole; holy; righteous; unblemished; without fault).

Key Point: God said, pay attention to what God spoke into Abram. God spoke the truth of who he is, life and promises into Abram.

Key Point: God made his status clear, he is the Almighty God.

Thought to Ponder: What are some of the other gods desiring to rule your life, the gods you are serving. If the definition of a God be that which is the ruler of something, what are you letting rule your life that does not have the name Almighty God on it?

Key Point: The is something in a name. Look at what God called himself, The Almighty. There is no negative connotations associated with his name. Righteousness is not associated with wickedness. God said he is the absolute powerful God, meaning in him all things no matter how far-fetched, no matter how difficult, no matter how wonderous it may sound or seem is possible by him to be done.

Thought to Ponder: What is the name you are calling yourself? Is that name associated with righteousness or the opposite thereof? There is power in the name by which you are called. God knows who he is according to all that is righteous and true do you?

Key Point: Walk = placement, before = position, me (as in God) = ownership

Key Point: Walk before me and be perfect = The position God wants us to take in life. To walk through life in the presence of righteousness is to be without fault in the eyes of God no matter what we may think of ourselves or what the world may think.

Key Point: Walk before me and be perfect = Walking in front of God/being in his presence is essential to being spiritually whole.

Key Point: Walk before me and be perfect = Walking before God means he has our back, meaning he is covering us on all sides. God is protecting us from what’s behind, on the side of and in front of us as he moves us forward into a state of perfection in him.

Thought to Ponder: How is God making himself know to you? God can appear to us by the sound of his voice, the deeds he performs, a memory, in dreams, in thoughts and emotions, by way of someone else's presence in our life, life situations and so forth and so on. Start to pay attention to the presence of God in your life. PRAY for open ears to him, open eyes to see him, an open heart to receive him, an open mind to think his thoughts, pray for the ability to notice the presence of the Almighty God in your life. And be ACTIVELY OBSERVANT.

Thought to Ponder: Who and/or what are you walking with as you journey through life? Could the key to having absolute power to fulfill your God given purpose in life is to walk with the God who is absolutely powerful to do all things?

2) And I will make my covenant (a binding agreement; promise) between me and you, and will multiply (increase the number of; expand) you exceedingly (extremely; greatly; extraordinarily).

Key Point: Walking before God honoring his word, his will and his way, being holy and righteous is what brings about his promises in life. God is not looking for earthly perfection he is looking for spiritual perfection and spiritual perfection is just loving him enough to be obedient to that which he speaks in your life.

Key Point: We are vessels for God to use, his desire is to use us to produce his holiness on earth. God desires to establish his holy promises with us, he desires to expound his glory through us, God desires for the divine goodness that is him in our DNA/genetics to be multiplied upon the earth.

Thought to Ponder: What are the God particles in you that God wants to multiply and share with the people he places before you.

Thought to Ponder: Are you seeking after worldly promises or the promises of God? Do you even know the promises God made to you? And are you positioning yourself before God to receive his promises?

The Bible has tons and tons of Godly promises, but the ultimate promise of God is the promise of everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Howeve,r let me remind you of verse one which states God called Abram to walk before him and be perfect. We must all the days of our life choose to place ourselves in front of and walk in the presence of all that is holy and true in the Kingdom of Heaven which in the eyes of God is a person walking faultless before him. Walking in the presence of righteousness leads us to live a godly life, just by being in the presence of God he will lead us on the path that causes us to take up holy living.

3) And Abram fell on his face: and God talked (exchange/interchange of thoughts, emotions and opinions in spoken language; with him saying,

Key Point: Fell on his face = Position of submission, position to receive, position of reverence, position of overwhelm and thankfulness.

Key Point: God is desiring to share himself with us on an intimate (very personal) level of exchange, all we have to do is position ourselves before him the way he needs us to so that he can commune with us intimately spiritually.

Thought to Ponder: Are you positioned to hear from God, are you living your life in such a manner that you can hear the voice of God calling out to you or is the voice of God being drowned out by the voices of worldly gods and the cares thereof?

4) As for me, behold (observe; witness), my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father (the man who gives life to; originator of a line of descent that serves as a model; precursor) of many nations (large group of people who usually share common customs, origins, history, and frequently language; nationality).

Key Point: The righteousness of Abram is the genetic factor that God wants to reproduce through him. If you read the life of Abram starting at Genesis chapter 12 you can see the Godly parts of Abram that God desires for his future generations to have.

Key Point: God is a specific God, look at how he tells Abram what he desires is for him only.

Thought to Ponder: What God has created you for, the purposes he chose to give you is for you only. All you have to do to receive is position yourself before him in submission and obedience to receive. In all my studying I found the promises of God comes with Godly obedience, submission, task/service and faith.

Thought to Ponder: Multiplying Abram is speaking of his seed, meaning descendants/lineage. Is what dwells inside of you worth reproducing on earth through your children and/or productiveness? If children is not your thing (and that is ok), is what you have productive wise worth being replicated on earth, meaning the way in which you are using your abilities, gifts, talents and so forth?

5) Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made (To cause to exist by shaping, modifying and putting together; to cause to assume a specified function or role) you.

Key Point: God took Abram’s earthly name and added to it to make it a Heavenly name. We have two names, the name God gives us in Heaven and the name our earthly parents give us.

During my studies I found that a human being is given two names when born. The first is the name the Lord gives you in Heaven and the second the name you are given from your parents on earth. An example of this is Jesus, look at how the Angel name him Immanuel which translates to God is with us, but his earthly parent’s Mary and Joseph named his Jesus. Pray and ask for God to reveal to you the name he calls you according to that which he has written in his book of life. And when your name is revealed live in the truth of who you are in the Kingdom of Heaven. Even the demons and the devils know the name by which you are called by the Throne of Heaven. Look at how Jesus went to heal the possessed man and when the devils inside of him went to call his name he silenced them. There is power in a name.

Nowadays woman and men are allowing themselves to be called such vulgar and negatively defined names not realizing what they are internally allowing their souls to connect with. I hear so often oh we are taking this back and making it positive, this is negligent thinking. Why would someone want to associate themselves with a word that was created to demoralize, demean and cause anguish. God did call his children to be obscenities of distaste, he called his children to be images of himself and his son, names that are associated with king and queenship, righteousness, and Almighty power.

You see what we call ourselves is a spiritual movement, meaning names give way to the spirit world, meaning whatever a name is associated with conjures up the spirits associated with it. If what you call yourselves has negative vibes then guess what spirits attach to your soul and begin to live through you. Do a self check, pay attention to the behaviors you display and begin to associate that behavior with the name of the spirit it belongs to, and if that spirit is not a spirit of righteousness go to God and ask for his assistance on helping you to clean up the essence of who you are. Read the Bible and see how the names had meaning which were associated with blessings and curses.

Look at the names God calls himself from the beginning to the end of the Bible and the definitions associated with it. To me God has made himself known as the Lord Jehovah (Exodus6:3) (YHWH or Yahweh) the God of Moses and the Israelites. This is the name of God spoken to Moses as God was telling Moses of the deliverance of the Israel people from the bondage of Egypt and the remembrance of his covenant toward them.

Key Point: Abram is a descendant of Shem, Shem is the brother of Ham, Ham was cursed by their father Noah for the wrong he committed of looking upon his naked body. Ham gave birth to the canities, the Canaanites were later taken over by the Hebrews, thus the name Ham added to Abram. Abraham was considered the first Hebrew and took over the land of the Canaanites during his Godly journey, thus the name Ham being added to his name. The adding of Ham to Abram’s name is a symbol of Godly expansion. To take what you have in the earthly then add the spiritual to it to make it abundant in absolute glory and righteousness in the name of the Almighty God.

6) And I will make you exceeding fruitful (producing in abundance), and I will make nations of you, kings (one that is supreme or preeminent; rulers; crowned leaders) shall come out of you.

Key Point: Living under our Godly name brings about the ability for us to produce on earth an abundance of divine goodness and glory.

Key Point: That which is righteous and true and rooted in the Throne of Heaven is the parts of us God desires to reproduce in the earth. Our righteous qualities that are capable of regenerating, replenishing and perpetuating the righteousness of God upon the earth from generation to generation.

Key Point: Fruitful = children and/or personal productiveness.

Thought to Ponder: Is our living fruitful in the desires of God?

Key Point: We are to produce on earth that which is worthy of being called Kings and Queens in the eyes of God. This verse tells us we are not to raise children in a wat that would push them towards wanting to be associated with vulgarity, lewdness, offence, sin and death. We should want that which is reproduced from us worthy to be called the children of the Almighty God.

Thought to Ponder: What are you calling your children or that which we are birthing into the world, the name which is associated to the spirit world? Is it a name worthy of being called by God to be expounded in his glory?

Thought to Ponder: It is up to us as parents to teach our children that which they should be called, let’s no longer call our children such derogatory names and/or allow them to think it is ok. Let’s start teaching the younger generations how to view themselves and call themselves that which the eye of God sees them as. Let’s stop raising our children to be savages, hustlers, the n word, the b word and any other harsh and unproductive names. Let’s start feeding our children names of Godliness, Almightiness, Heaven and divine purpose. By raising a child to see themselves as a divine worthiness how better of an adult human being do you think they would be, an adult capable of doing great things for righteousness sake and the rest of humanity.

7) And I will establish (to set up; create) my covenant between me and you and your seed (descendants) after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you, and to your seed after you.

Key Point: Fulfilling verse 1 leads to God fulfilling this verse. Walking before God and allowing him to bring you into spiritual perfection (as seen through his eyes) allows for the promises of God to be kept not only to you but for all that is reproduced through you for all future generations.

Key Point: The promises of God are everlasting.

Key Point: What is the promise of God? To be a God unto you and all that is reproduced from you forever.

Key Point: What comes with having God as your God, his absolute unlimited universal power, his invincible and supreme presence, all that is righteous, true and glorious unto his Throne, the fruits of his spirit, his love and grace, his mercy and forgiveness and most importantly access to everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thought to Ponder: Being completely honest with yourself, is the life you are living today bringing about the promises of the worldly that are temporary or the everlasting covenant of God to be a God unto you, and to your seed after you?

Blessed be the name of the Lord Jehovah for the reading, studying and enlightenment of his word in the name of his son Jesus the Christ, Amen.
