n. An emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by the desire to flee or fight).

v. To be afraid or scared of; to be frightened.

Deuteronomy 31:6…Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

There is no reason to walk this life we live in fear, for the word of God tells us that wherever we go God is right there with us always, and if God is with us then all things that are opposite of his righteousness must bow to him. This week do not let the emotion of fear deter you from living the life that God has called you to live. My motto is do it even if you are afraid, once you get past the hard part then the rest is easy. Fear is a natural human emotion and serves its’ purpose, however in the instances of moving in righteousness we cannot let fear get the better of us and stop us from living our calling of divinity. When afraid I like to call on the name of Jesus until the spirit of fear leaves my heart and is replaced with the courage of God, doing this I am not only telling fear whom I serve and by whose name it must submit to, but I am also telling my soul (mind, will and emotions) by whose authority it must move. God promises he will be by our side always, never leaving or forsaking us in the times that we need him the most.
